Quantifying your emissions; and Leaders and Laggards
This series was recorded live at evokeAG. 2024 in Perth and explores the exceptional edge of agrifood tech innovation and a relentless pursuit of innovation at a critical juncture in time.
With over 70% of Australian agricultural produce exported down long and disparate supply chains, keeping track of Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions is as complex as it is important for primary producers.
This episode includes two audio features. First, a presentation by Australia’s pre-eminent sustainability academic Richard Eckard. He highlights the important role of an agreed, accessible, and user-friendly greenhouse gas accounting framework.
Professor Eckard then joined discussion, 'Leaders and Laggards: Pathways to a more sustainable agrifood landscape' including Jacqui Biddulph a dairy farmer and steering committee member for Australian Dairy Sustainability Framework, David Messina, the Co Founder and CEO of Rumin8, and Charlotte Weston, Global Sustainability Director EY. Their conversation is facilitated by Jackson Hewett, Head of Content for Auctions Plus.
