With over 70% of Australian agricultural produce exported down long and disparate supply chains, keeping track of Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions is as complex as it is important for primary producers.
This episode includes two audio features. First, a presentation by Australia’s pre-eminent sustainability academic Richard Eckard. He highlights the important role of an agreed, accessible, and user-friendly greenhouse gas accounting framework.
Professor Eckard then joined discussion, 'Leaders and Laggards: Pathways to a more sustainable agrifood landscape' including Jacqui Biddulph a dairy farmer and steering committee member for Australian Dairy Sustainability Framework, David Messina, the Co Founder and CEO of Rumin8, and Charlotte Weston, Global Sustainability Director EY.
